The November 2008 Celestial Timings are dedicated to the passing of Nicole Christine who died peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital at 2:11 pm on October 18, 2008. She was a Divine Creation High Priestess founding the Awakening the Priestess Within Process in 1994, The Magdalene Mysteries Process in 1996, The Global Citizen University in 2000, and The Sacred Order of the Venus Templars and the Divine Creation High Priestess process in 2007. She was also the author of several books, including The Temple of the Living Earth, My Ascension Journal, and Under Her Wings, and The Making of a Magdalene.
She was a mentor, sacred sister and beloved friend and I am grateful I had the opportunity to know her, work and play with her, and to be with her in her last days on this Earth. I am still feeling radically altered from the power of being so close to her conscious death. In this month of Thanks Giving it is a time for giving thanks for all the gifts of life we have experienced especially in the last year. With the state of the world so uncertain, gratitude is more important than ever. If you have a gratitude list it might be time to update it. If you don’t have one it might be a good time to create one and to spend time each day this month remembering all that you are grateful for, as that will help us stay out of fear as the old system continues its inevitable collapse. The old must die to give way to the new and this is the time of year that we celebrate the death mysteries as a necessary part of life and growth. This past month allowed me and many in my spiritual community to witness a beautiful conscious, willing death. It is a powerful reminder about the gifts that willing surrender brings when we let go and trust the process.

Zeitgeist And A New Earth Economic View
Zeitgeist as defined by the dictionary is "the spirit of the age and its society" or “the ethos of an identified group of people that expresses a particular world view which is prevalent at a particular period of socio-cultural progression.”
Understanding the issues of our current economic system helps us to be conscious participants in the death of the old economic system. It is about 2 hours long, so be sure to set aside time for the whole movie.
The first part of this movie uncovers the shadow of our monetary system. It is important to know what these shadow elements are so we can consciously change them. It is challenging and yet important to be aware of what has been going on for centuries. The last half or so of this movie describes a “Resource Based Economy” that uses sustainable technology to create a world that supports all people and life on this planet. This is so inspiring and uplifting I cannot recommend this movie highly enough.
I don't know if the plan this movie outlines is the ONE that will ultimately work or not...but at least there is a solution being offered with an intent to create a New Earth Economic system that supports everyone and the environment as well. You will see what I mean when you watch the movie. Plus, I love that one of the solutions offered in this movie is called The Venus Project for the obvious reasons if you have been following the Celestial Timings this year. The first movie was Zeitgeist is also available free on the internet. This movie has some fascinating history and is well worth watching if you are interested in the bringing the shadow of the current economic policies to the light of your awareness. It has three main parts. Part one is a fascinating piece on Cosmology and Religion...the cosmology part is fairly accurate and interesting. Part two is about the hoax of 911 and what that was all about. The last part is about the history of our failed monetary system with some ideas about what to do that as I recall are already somewhat outdated. I haven’t seen this movie in several months. Anyway that is why I recommend the Zeitgeist Addendum Movie first.

Daily Celestial Timings
Nov 01, Saturday. A.K.A. All Saints Day began as a Roman Catholic observance honoring the Saints who already reside in Heaven. Nov 2 is All Souls Day is a day intended to remind those of us souls still on Earth to live a holy life and to pray for the souls lost in purgatory. In more ancient traditions Nov 2 honors those who have died. In Mexico and parts of the Western United States, Dia de los Muertos or the Day of the Dead dates back at least 3,000 years and has survived the Spanish Conquistadors attempts over 500 years ago to eradicate this Meso-American tradition. Many other cultural traditions have also used this seasonal timing when the plants are dying and preparing their seeds for rebirth to honor and remember the ancestors, those who have died, and all who have come before. It is a time for celebrating and recognizing the cycle of death as an important part of the cycle of life.
The ancient Celts celebrated this cross-quarter time as their New Year’s point called Samhain (sow-in) usually on the New or Full Moon closest to the astrological cross-quarter. This year that is the Full Moon of November 12. This cross-quarter is a time when the veils between all the worlds, especially the world of the living and the world of the dead, are thinnest. The Celts believed this timing was most powerful for looking into the future and for accessing other worlds more easily. This was (and is) a time to go within and seek guidance from the ancestors for the coming year. This was celebrated as a night of High Magic for those attuned to the mysteries, celebrating death and rebirth, endings and beginnings, and that which is yet to come. It was believed that this timing when worked with consciously helped to set the pattern for the coming year.
One of the factors that is occurring now that helps to set the pattern for the coming year is the Moon conjunction with Venus at the 4th Gate referred to by the Sumerians as the Gate of Compassion. The "out of bounds" Sagittarius Moon meets with Venus (17 Sagittarius) just after Midnight Pacific Time. This marks the passage of the Queen of Heaven through the fourth gate on her return journey from the underworld. This timing is especially important for all those who turn a multiple of 8 (8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88 etc.) between August 24, 2007 and mid-April 3, 2009 as you are in your eight year synodic Venus return representing a powerful 584 day initiation process with the divine feminine.
The current Venus cycle is now in her evening star phase where she is retrieving the vestments she was required to give up when she was going into the underworld. The fourth gate is associated with the fourth chakra (a.k.a the heart chakra) where she retrieves her Breast Plate and her ability to truly love herself in healthy ways and thus truly love others. This powerful theme of Self-Love is being set into the unfolding pattern for the coming year. Genuine healthy Self-Love is perhaps the most primary key to living a fulfilling, joyful life and to navigating these chaotic times.

Nov 02, Sunday. USA goes off Daylight Savings Time (Arizona, Hawaii and parts of Indiana do not go on or off Daylight Time). Neptune Stations direct at 1:40 am EST at 21 Aquarius 28 marking the still point of the Neptune cycle and a magical access point into the Celestial Realms. Plus today we have the "out of bounds" Moon and Pluto (29 Sagittarius) meeting at Galactic Center at 1:41 am PST just before the Moon crosses the exact December Solstice point of zero Capricorn around 3:13 am Pacific Time. Over the last three years the Celestial Timings has focused a lot on the 19 year Lunar Standstill that moves more than 28 degrees north or south of the Ecliptic (the plane of our Solar System and the path the planets follow).
The Sun can only move 23.5 degrees north or south of the Ecliptic so the Moon is considered to be "out of bounds" or outside the boundaries of where the Sun can travel from our Earth based perspective. This means the Moon reaches beyond the boundaries of our ordinary reality to transmit the mysteries from the area of the sky the Moon is traveling through at this time. It just so happens that at this time in our Earthly journey within this Galaxy the 'out of bounds' Moon is reaching beyond at the Galactic Center and in about two weeks will be reaching beyond at the Galactic Edge. This is just one of many features that is indicating the radically powerful changing times.
In addition to this the 'out of bounds' Moon is also occulting the fixed star Nunki late tonight or early tomorrow morning less than 48 hours away from the USA elections on November 4. As stated in the previous Celestial Timings Nunki is the star that marks the Vane of the Arrow in the constellation of the Archer and is pointed directly at Galactic Center. The vane of the arrow is like a nexus point or connection point or convergence where the energies are mostly concentrated. The vane of the arrow is where the archer holds the arrow drawn on the bow ready for release into the Galactic Center.
Each time the Moon passes here (near where Jupiter stationed in September) these concentrated energies are released into Galactic Center and then resent out. If we consider all the distorted energies that are being gathered and sent to the Galactic Center (consider the economic crisis as one example) to be recycled and renewed especially as Pluto is now sitting at the Galactic Cross and adding powerful catalytic alchemical energy intended to transform.
This is confirmed by Michael Smulkis and Fred Rubenfeld in their book Star Light Elixirs and Cosmic Vibrational Healing http://hilarion.com/stars.html describing Nunki as “A star directly seeded by the center of the galaxy...emanating from the galactic center where creative force originates stimulating “a new contextual view, a new idea, or a remembrance of an old idea now brought into form in a new way.” Visual intentional connection with the Moon as it crosses near Nunki (also known as Pelagus) is a powerful way to tune into these energies. Tonight the Moon is visible approaching Nunki and Jupiter and will be visible just beyond Nunki tomorrow night enhancing direct access to this doorway of energy. There is only one more occultation of Nunki this year on November 29/30.
Nov 03, Monday. Venus (19 Sag) Squares Saturn (19 Virgo) and Uranus (19 Pisces) and Mercury (29 Libra) sextiles Pluto (29 Sagittarius). This combination of aspects is designed to produce unexpected, unplanned for, unusual "events of extreme novelty" designed to create an assemblage point shift in our personal and collective reality. The exactness of this is occurring the day before the USA presidential election with the exact Saturn Uranus opposition occurring tomorrow suggests major unexpected events will continue to shift the course of these times.
These unpredictable revolutionary energies are also expressing through mature divine feminine wisdom symbolized by Venus having just returned through the 4th Gate of Compassion reminding us to have compassion for ourselves and each other. True Compassion accepts what IS and does not try to change anything or fix it or make it be different from a place of resistance, anger, or fear. Rather true compassion acts from pure love that is unattached to the results of their actions. When we are attached to events turning out in a certain, for example tomorrow's USA Presidential Election, then we are not expressing from pure love and compassion but rather in regard to a specific agenda. In the example of tomorrow's election, many will prefer one candidate over another.
It is important to remember the changes in process are all divinely guided even if they don’t (or even if they do) make sense right now as what is changing is not operating form the realm of logic and reason. Moving into our heart space, taking the action we are guided to take from our heart-knowing and then accepting the results with equanimity and trust in the unfolding divine process helps us to stay centered and in our hearts regardless of the results.
Nov 04, Tuesday. Election Day USA. Saturn and Uranus are in exact opposition at 5:33 am Pacific Time 8:33 am Eastern Time. Mercury moves into Scorpio at 8 am Pacific Time 11 am Eastern, 8 am Pacific Time. Plus the Moon moves into Aquarius at 4:01 am Pacific and 7:01 am Eastern opening the First Quarter Moon Window. This Timing brings to mind the Uranian adage that says, "The one thing we know for sure is we don't anything for sure."
Saturn seeks to stabilize structures that work and Uranus seeks to create evolutionary change. It is clear the old forms are not working and a new operating system is vital to our continued growth and well-being as a planet. Uranus energizes unpredictable events that will help facilitate whatever changes are necessary. Our task is to trust the process and be open to the changes that are designed to create greater freedom and ability to be responsible for what we are co-creating without attachments to the outcome. There is a divine plan at work that may not be obvious at first. Our job is to remain in our hearts with great compassion, energizing the light of love in all we do.
Nov 05, Wednesday. The Aquarius First Quarter Moon (14 Aquarius) is at 8:03 pm Pacific Time accelerating the fruition of visions and dreams. This First Quarter Moon is near the February Cross-Quarter degree of 15 Aquarius marking an in-between time as the Sun is also at the in-between time or halfway mark between the September Equinox and the December Solstice. The Celts recognized these cross-quarter markers as a time when the veils between the worlds were thinnest and easiest to access. This was especially true when the Sun reached the Samhain cross-quarter that will be exact late on Nov 6 or Early Nov 7 depending on your Time Zone. This might be the time when we say the one thing we know for sure is change is guaranteed, what we may not know is what the changes will look like or how they will take place.
Nov 06, Thursday. The Aquarius Moon still in First Quarter Phase occults Neptune for the 11th time this year. These Moon occultations over Neptune give us a chance to peek more deeply into the Neptunian mysteries of dreaming and increasing intuition through conscious dreaming. First Quarter Moons are a time for taking action to bring our dreams, ideas, and visions into concrete expression. So this is a great time to create a new dream or to revive an existing dream and to commit to imagining its fruition several times a day.
It may help to allow your imagination run free with the intent to discover more of your true heart's desire around living the kind of life that supports the expression of your deep inner authentic self.
If you find negative thoughts and feelings interfering with what you are desiring to create then it helps to focus your attention on the image of your dream and to use prayers or affirmations or images that burn away, or disarm, the doubts. Using the Violet Flame can also be helpful. Whatever works...as the Aquarian mysteries are especially known for working beyond the rules of ordinary reality. It is important, however, to be prepared (at least mentally) for radical changes to occur because the old reality must be dismantled for a new reality to take its place.
Nov 07, Friday. The Moon moves into Pisces further encouraging us to allow our imaginations an opportunity to manifest through conscious dreaming. It is not about doing so much as it is about focusing on the dream and claiming it with certainty. When doubts arise it helps to embrace them, express them and then release them, bringing our attention back to the image of the fully realized dream as many times as necessary. Energy follows our thoughts and our words as well as our actions. Imagine it, decree it so, and give gratitude for what is already manifest and for what is manifesting in accordance with your personal divine design in support of the greater collective.
November 6, 7 and 8 are the three solar days of the Cross-quarter. Plus, today is the exact Solar alignment with the fixed star Zuben Algenubi located in the constellation of the Scales representing balance. The Celts felt this cross-quarter was a time for High Magic to occur and with the Sun conjunct Zuben Algenubi at this phase of the 26,000 year cycle it reminds us that all that is at play in the world right now is seeking balance. Nov 08, Saturday. The Moon conjuncts retrograde Uranus (18 Pisces 59) today as Uranus is slowing way down for its station direct on November 27. The Moon is transmitting the 26,000 year lineage of the Pisces mysteries to Uranus. This includes the mysteries of universal love, true compassion, and radical forgiveness as a key step in experiencing mystical union with the divine. When healthy, the Pisces mysteries operate from the enlightened perspective of the Bodhisattva. However, most of us are still acting from Fear saying and doing things that don't match up with our true heart's desire or our true divine nature. This is a Timing that supports asking the question; "What would love do now?"

Nov 09, Sunday. The Moon moves into Aries energizing the mysteries of committed and decisive action to further the causes that resonate with who we are. The first and most important cause Aries can have is their commitment to living a healthy, loving, fun life. Being committed to living the best life possible is easier to accomplish when Love, especially self-love is the main guiding principle. The Aries spiritual warrior energy is about putting their words into actions. It might be helpful to ask; "What would love do now?" And then act on the answers you get, because actions based in love produce magical results that energize greater love, producing even greater magical results.
Nov 10, Monday. The Sun (18 Scorpio 21) is sextile Jupiter (18 Capricorn 21) and is trine Uranus (18 Pisces 52) later today. The Sun Uranus trine reminds us that Uranus is about to station direct on November 27 at 18 Pisces 44 moving only 8 minutes in the next couple of weeks. The slowing and actual shifting direction of a planet represents a pause in that planets cycle. This is a time for locating the center balanced point of power locating the place of radical compassion and acceptance for all that IS. Acceptance doesn’t mean you like what IS or that you dislike it. Preferences are a natural part of life.
We might prefer we were in a different life situation at any given moment. However, accepting what IS, releases resistance. Otherwise, resistance keeps us locked into the very energy we are resisting. Acceptance allows for the energy to shift naturally and often creates the space for the magical opportunities we prefer to manifest. The Sun Uranus trine is most potent for three days, the day before, the day of and the day after with day being the exact center point.
However, we can also include the Uranus Saturn opposition that has been occurring for the last couple of months and was exact on November 4 as also producing unexpected shifts in our reality or assemblage point. The Assemblage point is what the Toltec shamans referred to as the core belief that organizes our whole reality. Recent global events have already begun a radical assemblage point shift and will continue to do so over the next few months. The more we resist these changes the more difficult and challenging events will become. Nov 11, Tuesday. Today is 11/11. Solara has been reminding us for years that the numbers 11:11 act as a gateway to a Greater Reality and is the place where we can seed our long held heart's desires. This "insertion point" is designed to assist us in being present in the moment and thus able to channel, directly from source, a new reality with new revelations that come from beyond the logical, rational mind. Thus, this enhanced state of being helps create a reality that reflects your true divine essence. This is a further confirmation that goes with yesterday's Timing.
Today the Sun (19 Scorpio 34) is sextile Saturn (19 Virgo 34) and Venus is conjunct Pluto (29 Sag 30) suggesting a deep transformative process is at work further exposing the destructive shadow elements bringing them to the light of awareness where they can be transformed. We must make new choices that are sustainable and supportive to all life and not to just an elite few. Solara was the first to bring through the idea that the 11:11 gateway was helping to wake up humanity and that whenever we see 11:11 on the clock or anywhere else it is the way our higher self is letting us know we are on track or to pay attention to what is happening around you. The Venus conjunction with Pluto is a wake-up call as well reminding us to remember the wisdom of the Grandmothers and the important role they are playing in leading us back to a more sustainable and joyful way of living.
Nov 12, Wednesday. The Taurus Full Moon (21 Taurus 15) is exact at 10:17 pm Pacific so in many time zones the Full Moon is actually tomorrow though the Fullest Rise of the Moon is tonight. If your Ascendant is in Taurus or you have personal planets in Taurus this Full Moon is a direct transmission point for you personally. The Moon is a transmitter, reflecting or transmitting the light of the Sun. The Moon is seen in its different phases due to its constant changing relationship to the Sun.
When the Sun and Moon are opposite each other the light of the Sun shines fully on the Moon creating the Full Moon effect. This means the Sun is setting as the Moon is rising and later the Sun is rising as the Moon is setting. Tonight the Moon is rising about a half hour before the Sun is setting. Tomorrow night the Moon is rising about 20 minutes after the Sun sets. The Taurus Full Moon transmission includes the mysteries of beauty, intimacy and pleasure. Ceremonially watching the Full Moon rise can be one of the greatest simple pleasures we can experience. It is a direct connection to the mysteries and a great way to receive any additional transmissions coming available at this time deepening our experience of intimacy with ourselves, with each other and with the beauty and pleasure of life when we are open to receive it.
Evening star Venus now visible on the western horizon after Sun set is moving into Capricorn until December 7. It is interesting to note that Venus entered Capricorn on January 24 of this year just two days before Pluto entered Capricorn on January 26. Venus is returning to this area of the sky crossing the Galactic Plane just about 15 days before Pluto re-enters Capricorn for the second time this year as well. (See Nov 26) With Pluto and Venus crossing the Galactic Cross this month, for the second time this year, our attention is again drawn to the importance of the Galactic Center.
The Mayans saw this area of the sky as the source of conscious energy encoding and manifesting the structure of our universe. Scientists have discovered that this area of the sky has the highest concentration of electro-magnetic lights fields. When planets pass by Galactic Center they experience these heightened electro-magnetic fields absorbing and sending these energies into our Solar System and to our Earth. The effect catalyzes ancient/future forgotten knowledge coded directly into our DNA that responds to the light energy coming from the Stars, Planets, Comets and other Celestial Phenomena.
The Solstices are now aligned with Galactic Plane an event that occurs every 13,000 years. Our Solar System is also aligned with the Galactic Plane an event that happens about every 30 million years. Venus crosses the Galactic Plane at Galactic Center once each year, though sometimes twice in a year as is this case this year. Pluto only crosses the Galactic Plane at Galactic Center every 248 years producing massive catalytic changes. This is being magnified when we consider the other events also occurring at Galactic Center at this time. It is as if the Divine Plan wasn't about to miss a single opportunity to make sure this is THE most transformational time we have even encountered.
So this month Venus and Pluto are both crossing the Galactic Intersection or Galactic Cross just prior to Mercury, Mars and the Sun reaching this point next month. This means it is an excellent time to begin asking ourselves; what we are magnetizing into our reality through our thoughts, words, and actions? The magnetic fields of the Earth are being further energized so it is helpful to notice where you are feeling drawn to connect with the Earth, as these are the places where the incoming light codes are most easily accessible. These acupuncture points are all over the Earth and when we take time to listen we may find ourselves guided to the places in nature that will help further facilitate the awakening and evolutionary process already in motion.
Nov 13, Thursday. The Sun (21 Scorpio) squares Neptune (21 Aquarius 30) and the Moon moves into Gemini energizing the mysteries of the coyote trickster further adding to the unpredictable nature of the Sun Neptune alignment that is the vast dreaming energy of the Neptunian realm. Neptune stationed direct on November 1 at 21 Aquarius 28. When an outer planet squares the Sun after having been retrograde it signals the time when that planet is again picking up speed in its forward motion from the Earth’s perspective.
On Feb 11 of this year the Sun and Neptune were conjunct at 21 Aquarius so whatever was seeded then is being further energized by the Sun square to Neptune having returned to 21 Aquarius. Neptune stationed retrograde on May 26 of this year at 24 Aquarius. This means that anyone who has planets or angles in fixed signs (or the signs of Self-Interest as described in Shamanic Astrology including Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius) between 21 and 25 degrees has been in a Neptunian initiation this year.
Neptune initiations operate in the Celestial World fine tuning our intuition in ways that go beyond the confines of the rational middle world reality. Indeed, a lot of confusion usually occurs around a Neptune process taking initiates into unknown territory where logic and reason do not work. In 2009 Neptune returns to 22 Aquarius 41 meaning those who have planets or angles near this degree are still in their Neptune Initiation. The key to this process is to let go of the need to know or figure things logically and rationally and to trust the process. From this place grace happens and suddenly out of seemingly nowhere you find you have greater clarity and direction in ways you might never have anticipated.
Nov 14, Friday. The out-of bounds waning Moon is traveling through the Sacred Hoop rising about an hour after Sunset local time depending on your horizon line. The Moon can be seen just past Aldebaran, the eye of the Bull and approaching the Galactic Cross located at the Galactic Edge. Tomorrow night the Moon will have moved beyond the Galactic Cross and will be visible near the feet of the Twins. The Moon has passed the exactness of its Lunar Standstill phase and is slowly returning to the boundaries of the Sun’s passage along the ecliptic.
However, we are still feeling the effects twice monthly of the Moon reaching beyond the boundaries of ordinary reality and transmitting the light codes from the Galactic Core (that happened at the beginning of this month and is happening at the end of this month when the Moon is between 15 Sagittarius and 15 Capricorn). In the case of the next couple of nights the Moon is transmitting the incoming light codes from beyond our Galaxy at the Galactic Edge. One way to tune into this to be with the Moon as it rises tonight or sometime after it rises into view.
Nov 15, Saturday. Moon moves into Cancer and Mercury (18 Scorpio 48) trines retrograde Uranus (18 Pisces 48). As mentioned yesterday although the Moon has passed the exact Lunar Standstill window we are still experiencing the passage of the Moon very near the maximum lunar extreme meaning the Moon is traveling beyond the boundaries of ordinary reality. We maximize the potency of this Timing by what we envision, imagine and think about as conscious co-creators of a new reality.
This is an important time for imagining the world operating from the principle of cooperation that unifies and strengthens the greater whole, moving us from mere survival into a new world where everyone is safe to thrive. Currently the underlying motivation in this world comes from fear and competition for domination and control. When we begin imagining and operating from love and cooperation then we are truly co-creating a New Earth experience that benefits and serves all life with peace and plenty for all.
Nov 16, Sunday. Mars moves into Sagittarius until Dec 26 energizing the spiritual quest for expanding self-understanding, knowledge, and the true meaning of life. Serge Kahili King author of Urban Shaman speaks about the importance of knowledge being available for everyone (in this case knowledge equates to the aspect of truth that brings wholeness). He says: “…a true shaman keeps no secrets about knowledge that can help and heal. The difficulty is not in keeping knowledge secret, but in getting people to understand and use it. As for misuse, that only comes from ignorance. The more knowledge everyone has about how to change things, the less inclination and opportunity there will be for misuse. Widely spread knowledge actually has more potency than secrets locked up and unused. Knowledge held secret is about as useful as money under a miser’s mattress. And the sacredness of knowledge lies not in its reservation for a few, but in its availability to many...”
Nov 17, Monday. The Moon moves into Leo and Mercury (21 Scorpio ) the transformational messenger, is squaring Neptune at (21 Aquarius) the one who inspires new visions and dreams. Mercury in Scorpio expresses as intensely passionate creative mind. Neptune in Aquarius is innovative, imaginative and visionary. Engaging these creative energies in ways that allow us to dream our wildest dreams assists in the co-creation of the New Earth paradigm. Certainly we are still in the process of experiencing the breakdown of the old paradigm that has a way of leaving us feeling fearful and uncertain if we are focused on the disintegration process. Mercury's message when linked with Neptune is to connect us to the Celestial Realm where changes of perception can occur instantaneously when we are receptive and living from compassion and acceptance.
Nov 18, Tuesday. Jupiter (20 Capricorn) and Venus (8 Capricorn) are rapidly approaching their exact conjunction just after mid-night Dec 1 in the Pacific Time Zone. Watching Venus cross the sky toward Jupiter over the next couple of weeks is a great way to tune into and experience the inspiration of these two bright planets as they come together in the evening sky. It is the return of the Divine Feminine wisdom that is giving birth to the New Earth structures designed to support the experience of expanding consciousness and ascension. This allows us to live sustainably and in beautiful harmony with one another on our beloved Earth.
Nov 19, Wednesday. The Leo Last Quarter Moon (28 Leo) is near Regulus (29 Leo) the heart of the Lion and is rising around midnight. The Last Quarter Moon represents the integration phase of the Moon cycle, integrating the gifts and knowledge and experiences gained in the cycle so far. This is a time to take note of how well you are doing with the process of self-love, self-approval, self-acceptance, and self-confidence.
The key of course to all of these is self-love. This is not the kind of self-love born out of narcissism but rather comes from a deep experience of your inner beauty, divinity and light. When we love who we are, that is what we radiate into the world and that sets up a healthy vibration that benefits all life. This means then that healthy genuine self-love is one of the greatest gifts we give ourselves and the world.

Nov 21, Friday. Jupiter trines Saturn exact and Moon conjuncts Saturn (20 Virgo) and trines Jupiter (20 Capricorn). Shamanic traditions referred to the Web of Life and Quantum Physics describes a field of Energy that connects everything. The planetary alignments are points of light in the silver grid (or web) that we can see from Earth when we open our awareness to it. Tonight Venus (11 Capricorn) is three degrees closer to Jupiter than it was on the night of Nov 18. Jupiter and Saturn are not visible together as Saturn is in the morning sky and Jupiter is in the evening sky. However, this trine energy is worth noting and utilizing in noticing the field of energy around you. Is it optimistic or filled with images of doom and gloom? Is it fearful or courageous and trusting? Is it tense, stressful, driven, or relaxed, happy, peaceful?
The Sun moves into Sagittarius today where it remains until December 21. These are the final synthesizing energies of the current yearly cycle, sifting through all the experiences and insights to find what is genuine and true, while wisely disregarding what is not true or no longer true for us. The Sun's annual passage through the Sagittarius realm reminds us of the importance of continually connecting to our understanding of what is true and how that truth is changing as our perception changes.
It is interesting to note that...in a few days (Nov 26) Pluto will return to Capricorn leaving the realm of Sagittarius and won't return for over 230 years. The last few days of Pluto in Sagittarius are highlighted by the Sun also in this area of the sky. This year will be the first year that the Sun will conjunct Pluto in the sign of Capricorn near the December Solstice. This is an event that happens only once or twice in a 248 year Pluto Cycle. Whatever disintegration of the old world that is taking place it will reach an illumination point at the December Solstice and will also be aligned with the Galactic Plane. This is just one of many factors pointing to the complete collapse of the old systems and the need for new ones that are sustainable and supportive for all.
Nov 22, Saturday. The Moon moves into Libra, and Mercury moves into Sagittarius until December 11, reminding us that all our relationships are sacred opportunities to know and relate to the divine within us. Recognizing the divine truth in everyone including ourselves helps to facilitate healthy, loving, nurturing relationships. The Mayan greeting In ‘Lakesh (you are another myself or I am another yourself) is a reminder of the truth that we are connected to everyone and everything including the divine nature in all life.
Nov 23, Sunday. Mercury (1 Sag) is moving to conjunct the Sun (2 Sag) exact in the early morning hours on Nov 25 and the Sun catches underworld Mars (6 Sag) on December 3 when they are both exactly conjunct Antares, the magical Behenian star the ancients linked with Mars. This is not visible because both Mercury and Mars are “blinded by the light” of the Sun. The Sun is the symbol for the pure life force energy that makes life as we know it possible. Meditating on this triple conjunction over the next several days as they energize and illuminate the Antares Stargate or Golden Gate of Ascension is a powerful way to receive the insights of the incoming light codes being beamed to Earth via the triple power of Mercury, Mars and the Sun.
Nov 24, Monday. The Moon moves into Scorpio illuminating the mysteries of death and rebirth. These past months of turmoil and radical shifts in our global economic landscape are strong reminders of the importance of surrendering the old forms and allowing the death process to occur. Primarily the rescue efforts are designed to keep alive the old form that has benefited the elite few. These desperate attempts have only delayed the inevitable death of the old structure. Conscious death is the key to a conscious transformation and rebirth. When the Moon passes through Scorpio, especially this time of year, it is a time for contemplating the death mysteries and how we can more consciously engage them.
Nov 25, Tuesday. The Sun conjuncts Mercury as Mercury (4 Sag) begins to move from Morning Star to Evening Star in the psychopomp phase of the Mercury cycle. This is the phase where Mercury acts as a guide for souls taking them where they need to go. If they are due to experience the Celestial World, Mercury can take them there. If they are due to experience the Underworld, Mercury can take them there as well, because Mercury has access to all the realms and dimensions. This is a time to tune in and be aware of where the messages are coming from and how you can best work with the incoming insights and information to further your own quest for truth and the meaning of your life.
Nov 26, Wednesday. Pluto returns to Capricorn where it stays until 2024. Pluto enter Capricorn for the first time in over 230 years this last January beginning a 16-year long initiatory process designed to transform our experience of the Capricorn mysteries with a great focus on the shadow expressions of our current structural reality. Pluto operates as an underworld initiator bringing the shadow to light for the purpose of transforming it. This means we are required to face our subconscious fears and beliefs that determine the direction of our lives from below the surface of our conscious awareness.
As Pluto moved through Sagittarius from 1995 to present time secret societies, religious fundamentalism and extremism began coming into the light of our awareness. With Pluto in Capricorn the secrets and hidden agendas of those who have been in charge will come to light as well as what we have already been experiencing around the unstable financial systems that have been constructed to primarily benefit an elite few. The old systems are in their death throws desperately trying to figure out how to survive. Death is a natural part of life and it is time for the old system to die. The question is will we have enough awareness and courage to support the death process taking place while also taking responsibility for birthing a new system that empowers the many and not just the few.
This is the time to seek and embrace the transformational process no matter how scary it seems. Another option is to ignore it and hope it goes away, but of course it won't. The changes will take place anyway though the more we resist the more challenging this process will be. The transformational change Pluto in Capricorn facilitates is to powerfully remake the world in a new way. Additionally, Pluto is hanging out at the zero degree point of Capricorn for the second time this year starting today and lasting until December 25.
Pluto returns to zero Capricorn on August 6 2009 stationing direct at Zero Capricorn and 39 minutes on September 10, 2009 and leaving the zero degree range on October 17, 2009.
This is significant because zero Capricorn is the December Solstice and it is currently located at the intersection of the Galactic Plane and the Ecliptic (a.k.a. the Galactic Cross). This is an event that occurs every 26,000 years. This means the last time Pluto entered Capricorn it was not located in this area of the sky. It was slightly over 3 degrees away from this exact point. So the bottom line is we don't really know the full significance of this alignment as it has been at least 26,000 years since it has occurred. It is also possible that Pluto missed being at this intersection point this precisely 26,000 years ago because this is the alignment of a 26,000 year cycle with a 248 year cycle. It is more likely that it has been around 65 million years since these two factors have lined up so precisely. (See Nov 29 for more)
Nov 27, Thursday. The Sagittarius New Moon (6 Sag) is within 3 degrees of Antares and is conjunct Mercury (7 Sag) and Mars (8 Sag). This means we have the Sun, Moon Mercury and Mars near Antares the magical Behenian Royal star that is heightened in potency whenever a planet is within 6 degrees of it. Here we have 4 planets converging at a powerful New Moon Seed point significantly magnifying the energies of Antares.
As I have mentioned many times before Antares is the Royal Star linked with Archangel Uriel who taught Enoch. The Book of Enoch describes the importance of tracking the Celestial Cycles as way to stay connected to the unfolding divine plan. This is discussed in the book Uriel's Machine by Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas. Uriel's Machine is a calendric tracking device that takes at least nine months to a year to build depending on the structure and what astronomical features are being built into the site. Most ancient cultures around the planet had some form of a calendric tracking device telling us that tracking the Celestial Cycles was high on their list of importance.
So as we approach the December Solstice this New Moon near Antares is calling our attention to the importance of the Solar and Celestial Cycles. Antares is the 14th brightest star in our night sky and according to Michael Smulkis and Fred Rubenfeld authors of Starlight Elixirs and Cosmic Vibrational Healing http://hilarion.com/stars.html say, “Antares influences the place just before choice…If you attune to this in anyway, asking with love in your heart for the higher path to be shown, so it will be. The opportunities for this may come forth in ways that were perhaps unexpected.”
And speaking of unexpected events...Uranus is also stationing direct today at (18 Pisces 44) meaning that Uranus has reached the still point of its current cycle and is reversing direction. Uranus is the revolutionary change agent and is often responsible for unexpected events that create dramatic shifts in our lives. This is what Terrence McKenna referred to as events of "extreme novelty" that are designed to altar our current perception of reality or said another way shifts the assemblage point or belief system that organizes our reality.
With Uranus and Saturn opposite each other well into next year we have already been experiencing the dramatic assemblage point shifts that are intended to support radical evolutionary growth and freedom to live and express our essential nature. This may add to the feelings of chaos and confusion already in motion. Willingness to surrender to what is and go with flow is helpful when we can remember to allow the bigger picture to unfold. The key is to "Trust the Bigger Picture” and to go with the flow. Worrying doesn't change what IS. Trust on the other hand helps us to go with the flow more easily.
Nov 28, Friday. Venus (18 Capricorn 44) sextiles stationary direct Uranus (18 Pisces 44). Sextiles are considered to be gentler energies than squares or oppositions according to a more traditional approach to astrology. Shamanic Astrology, however, is more sign driven than aspect driven. That is because some signs can be trine or sextile and yet their energies are so different it still requires some determination to integrate the differences in a way that works to maintain the integrity of each of the archetypes.
Capricorn is oriented to operate within predictable structures and rules. Pisces is more formless, and likes to go with the flow. Uranus of course loves change and Capricorn loves to know what to expect so these are very different styles. It is likely there will be unexpected events designed to create greater liberation and freedom. It is best to “go with the flow” and trust it is taking you where you want to go, even if you don’t know what that is yet.
Nov 29, Saturday. The Moon moves into Capricorn and conjuncts Pluto (00 Capricorn 05) right at the December Solstice Marker. Next month on December 26 when this happens again Pluto will have moved to 1 degree and 3 minutes of Capricorn so this is the most precise Moon conjunction with Pluto near zero Capricorn that will occur. However, the December Moon Pluto conjunction is occurring during the Capricorn New Moon window so it will have its own unique potency.
February 2, 2008 was another close one when Pluto was at O Degrees and 13 minutes of Capricorn and there was one on May 22 when Pluto was at 0 Degrees and 33 minutes of Capricorn. There will be two more Pluto Moon conjunctions close to this precise point on August 29, 2009 when Pluto is retrograde and September 25, 2009 after Pluto stations direct. Both times the Moon conjunction with Pluto is occurring at 0 Degrees and 42 minutes of Capricorn.
These trigger points are also seeding the holographic field for the next 16 years of Pluto's journey through this domain. The more we can embrace and transform our fears, while also working with the principle of radical forgiveness, including forgiving the unforgivable things we have done to ourselves and others as well as forgiving the unforgiveable things others have done to those we love or to us, the more powerfully we will be ready to step into a new vibrational field that includes peace, plenty and illumination for all.
Nov 30, Sunday. Venus (21 Capricorn) was exactly trine Saturn (21 Virgo) late last night and is still actively in a near exact trine with Saturn today. Plus Venus exactly conjuncts Jupiter in the early morning hours tomorrow. The last time Jupiter and Venus met in Capricorn was November 24, 1984. Venus got within 16 degrees of Jupiter in Capricorn on January 20, 1997 meeting with Jupiter in Aquarius at 3 degrees in early February 1997. (More about this will be in the December Celestial Timings).
Capricorn and Virgo are both feminine energies and share a powerful organic connection to the Earth. They both are about bringing spirit into matter but for different reasons. Capricorn brings spirit into matter to administer it and Virgo brings spirit into matter to honor it as sacred. Both of these planetary combinations speak to the wisdom of the Circle of Grandmothers and the ability of the divine feminine to lead us back to a sacred and practical way of being with the Earth and each other.
